Course Info: 1st year Chemistry course (SK-B1SPAN)
Number of students: ca. 90, in two streams X (groups 1-6) and Y (groups 7)

Teaching load: 180 hours
Teaching responsability: supervision of groups of ca. 12 students in either X or Y stream
Type of practicals: Skills experiments & Project, supervisor linked to fixed group of students
Qualifications required:
  • Active mastering of the Dutch language preferable
  • Analytical Chemistry
  • Spectroscopy
  • ALL AIO’s that completed BAMA@UU !
  • For this course you need to refresh your analytical chemistry and spectroscopy background. This may be through self study and provided TA manuals.

Jan 30th (9 - 15 hrs - Merel/Kanvaly): Potentiometry - Ion Selective Electrode -
Fluoride in Toothpaste
Jan 31st (9 -17 hrs - Sanne/…): High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) -
Caffein in Coffee
